The exterior of this historic residences had been painted, which was obscuring and damaging the Milwaukee Cream City brick exterior. Marion, Inc. removed the paint and cleaned the newly revealed brick using nonabrasive cleaning methods. We then repointed the mortar joints and finished them with a decorative bead joint that replicated the original finish.

We applied a hydraulic lime stucco application to the rear elevations, which we finished with limewash.

Finally, we cleaned and restored the interior fireplaces.

The Milwaukee Cream City brick facade had been obscured by paint. The paint was stripped to reveal the brick, which was then cleaned to remove soiling.
